Therapeutic Harp

In May 2025, I completed my course as a trained therapeutic musician, specialising in the harp. The instrument I play is a 29 string Celtic lever harp made by Peter Roberts. I am enormously grateful to Christine Middleton, my teacher, mentor and friend for her encouragement and guidance over the past 4 years. She gave me my first lesson in May 2021 and it is a privilege to now hold the position of harpist at Epworth Hospital, Waurn Ponds, a position that Christine held for over 14 years!

In addition to my hospital work, I also play twice a month for residents at an aged care facility in Armstrong Creek.

My music is NOT for singalong, dancing, or high energy activity.

The primary focus is for calm and relaxation, as well as memory support where needed. I am available to play for dementia support and palliative care in a private home, small group meditation and funerals.

For other occasions, I offer background music for ambience in exhibition spaces, and at lunch and dinner gatherings.
